Our Mission

We are dedicated to advancing cancer research by identifying patient subgroups with poor prognosis and exploring targeted therapeutic strategies. Our work begins with bioinformatics predictions, which we validate through laboratory studies using cancer cell lines and clinical samples. Though our research is foundational, we strive to make contributions that extend patient survival and quality of life.  。

Integrated Medical and Scientific Services

At Shirokane Sanko Clinic, clinical care and research are seamlessly integrated. We believe that providing cutting-edge medical services requires staying at the forefront of scientific knowledge — and that science, in turn, is most meaningful when it directly serves patients. Our clinicians are active researchers, and our research team is grounded in medical realities. This synergy
strengthens both sides of our mission.

A Place Where Passion Meets Science – For All Ages

We believe that curiosity and creativity are just as valuable as deep expertise. Scientific research today is highly interdisciplinary. For example, protein–protein interactions are studied using signal transmission models, and fields like physics and computer science are essential in analyzing protein structures.
These approaches show that impactful research often arises from broad, open-minded thinking. We welcome motivated high school and graduate students to join us.  With guidance, even young students can make meaningful scientific contributions.

Sustainability and Access

Our policy is grounded in the belief that both healthcare and research should be accessible, ethical, and sustainable. We do not accept government funding because it often comes with political constraints that may compromise scientific independence. Instead, we rely on the clinical revenue from our medical services and private donations. All of our student programs are offered free of charge to encourage equitable access to science education. We strive to make a difference — not by profit, but by dedication to progress and  people. Your support helps us maintain this freedom and continue training the next generation of
researchers.

Support Our Mission

  • We do not accept government grants in order to maintain independence and flexibility in our research. All our scientific activities are funded by our clinic and donations.
  • Your support helps us expand our program and offer opportunities to young researchers. We welcome any donations to keep this mission alive.
